Great book with lots of useful gardening information!

I like this book alot. This book has a ton of useful information in it. It has detailed information about selecting the right containers, seeds starting, crop rotation, and many other topics that I found very helpful. One of my favorite chapters - lists the best plants for new or busy gardeners. This is a great list because lets face it-not many of us have a ton of time to devote to gardening. This is especially useful to new gardeners who want easy to grow plants while learning to garden. The author even has a chapter discussing bringing plants indoors.

This is a very well written ebook. It is easy to read and easy to navigate with the Table of Contents in front with links for each chapter. All in all this is a great book packed full of really good garden information. I am experienced organic gardener and have found this book very useful and handy to have on my Kindle. This was money well spent! :0)

Poorly Done

The information contained in this book can be found elsewhere. This book is for a rank novice who has never planted a seed - then you might find something useful. However, there are more knowledgeable people out there. This author totally blew it when she said that hybrids are dangerous and put them in the same category as GMO's. Hybrids are NOT GMO's. Hybrids are plants that man has made through the use of pollen or other NATURAL methods, not by splicing genes. Since the author obviously doesn't know this, it is difficult to trust in anything she says. Just pass on this book - there are much, much better beginning gardening books available.

Wonderful Read and Tool

As a graduate student in a predominately psychodynamic program, I have been assigned a myriad of psychodynamic/analytic literature, and this book, by far, is the most incisive, jargon free, and useful tool I have found for understanding dynamic theory-all its important nuances- and perhaps, even more importantly, for applying it to patients. Gabbard also elucidates many ancillary topics, such as fee setting and phone calls, which the reader quickly learns are not so ancillary, but an integral part of the therapeutic technique and process. It is also highly refreshing and empowering to know that this masterful and erudite work on PSYCHOTHERAPY, and its implied necessity, was done by a biologically trained PSYCHIATRIST. Wow, sheer joy!

Well-written, concise and crystal clear

This is a an expensive, but really great book on long-term psychodynamic therapy which is often used to treat borderline personality disorders and other conditions that are more serious than the everyday problems of the average person.

It is actually a short book only being 210 pages. However, it covers a lot of ground and does it in a way that is easy to read. It introduces key concepts right at the beginning then it goes into assessment, indications and formulation. The next two chapters cover the nuts and bolts of psychotherapy and the role of the therapist. As a whole, the text does a great job of covering the end-to-end therapeutic process.

There are a lot of books on this topic, but this one is very clear, well-organized and covers the most important topics in just enough detail. There is not much fluff in this book and the clinical examples are useful and not overdone.

Great introductory book!

This is a great book for both graduate students and seasoned clinicians wishing to incorporate psychodynamic principles into their work. While many books about psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy require a sound grasp of jargon, Dr. Gabbard has done a great job presenting the material in a very palatable fashion. I would agree with one reviewer who stated that the reference section alone is the worth the price of the book. As someone who did not receive indepth training in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapy (I had been trained in CBT and systemic therapies), I found this to be a good launching point for further reading into psychodynamically oriented therapies(e.g. Mitchell & Greenberg; Fromm, Sullivan, etc.). If you are someone who has already received graduate level training in basic counseling/therapy skills, you might find yourself skipping over bits and pieces of the book. However, with that said, I would suggest this book to any counselor/therapist looking to incorporate psychodynamic thought into their work!

Someone was expecting her to come home that evening. The fact that she did not bring it up in over in all this time pissed him off but his anger was second to his sense of loss. There was only one thing to do. Walking back over to Kellane who kept her eyes on the gravel, he grabbed her cheeks lifting her head. “I’ll drive you over to the house so we can do this together.”

“What?”
“I know it will be difficult and we’ve only known each other a short time but I’m sincere Kellane… you’ll see that as time goes on but first we talk to him.”

Kellane stared in disbelief at his confident words. “Are you serious? What is this cave man act going to accomplish?”
“For starters it sets things straight. I don’t sneak around. What I do at night I can do in the light. And truth be told Kell I don’t like that you put me in this position.”
“Excuse me? And what position would that be? The one where I told you no but you wouldn’t listen?”
“The one where my desires don’t allow me to do the honorable thing and step to the side. I want to be with you but we gotta do it right.”
“There’s nothing right about this. Take me home.” Kellane pushed at Colton’s chest as he pushed her back against the truck.
“Why did you agree to this date?”
“You wouldn’t take no for an answer.”
“Why Kellane?”
“You wouldn’t take no for an answer.”
“Why did you let me screw you in the bathroom? Why the last dance? The phone calls. Why tonight?”
“I don’t know Colton. I just…please I want to go home.”

First I loved the mother-in law, always spoke the truth even if it hurt. The love story was not easy they had to fight for it. Hopefully the daughter will have her own story. Keep up the great work

To me what makes an IR book great is the lead male character...we have to like him, believe in him and deep down inside want someone like him...Colton is the male lead character in this book and all I can say is wow!!! He just takes your breath away. If you do nothing else you must read this book and get to know an amazing cowboy.

I have become a real fan of Free Girl's writing. From her first books to this book she kept me wanting more from her. There is something so real and raw about her characters that captures my heart, even when they're being bastards, lol.

Kellane and Colton were not perfect but they felt real in their imperfections. The way Colton loved her and her child melted my heart and kept me on his side from start to finish.

Despite how much Colton loved Kellane and openly display and tell her his feelings, Kellane still had fears and insecurities when it comes to their relationship. Her fears and insecurities made totally sense because of her limited experience in relationships and the only prior relationship she had ended badly. So it didn't feel stupid or fake.

Anyway, I just love this story, I would recommend it to people and I don't regret buying it. The only thing I regret is finishing this book so fast knowing that I have to wait months for her next one. I'm going to be checking amazon every week to see if she puts a new one out, while rereading her other books. This is what I did before and I have a feeling this is going to be my routine when it comes to her. So I hope she publish many more books in the future as soon as possible cause I'll be buying all of them.

Good Philosophical Book

I bought this book because all I knew how to play was a sweeper/stopper formation. After reading this book I had a much better understanding of the 433 and what the formation is designed for. This book did not offer any drills that would be helpful to running a 433, just the tactical and philosophical ideas for the formation. If you need drills for players, I recommend Dutch Soccer Drills and Dutch Soccer Drills Volume II. Volume 1 is for individual drills and Volume 2 is for team drills.

Excellent book. Clearly describes the role of each player in the 4-3-3 formation, provides some example build-up plays and also provides exercises to help the players get familiarized with the formation and their roles. Has plenty of diagrams to properly explain what is said in words.

What I like most about this book is it gives you great detail and leaves out the fluff. I switched to a 4-3-3 this season and while I already had a good grasp in the formation the book proved to be a great resource.

So I just received my copy in the mail today, and have not fully had the time to read it in its entirety, but from what I have gone through so far this book is outstanding. It's filled with precedents, material info, technique info, and step by step processes of how to handle and produce certain materials. Its also got theory and wonderful images.
